The co-pilot for researchers who are out of time, not insight. Compass creates, edits and analyses research based on your goals – just ask.
Tell Compass what you need to understand and it will design a survey aligned to your objectives.
Get suggestions on new questions to ask or how to tweak existing ones to get the answers you need.
Drafting a survey off platform with colleagues? Just paste it in and Compass will program it for you.
Not sure where to begin with your data? Ask Compass for ways to approach your data and potential areas of interest to explore.
Ask Compass to interrogate your data. As a neutral analysis tool, it can highlight patterns and insights you might not think to look for.
Compass is your new collaborator in the iterative process of data storytelling. Create, edit and add narrative to charts just by chatting.
Built on a commitment to research excellence, Compass was designed and informed by Attest’s own expert team. Your co-pilot for research design and analysis, it handles the manual elements of research workflows so you can focus on deeper insights.
AI accelerates and streamlines the research process, but it can’t replace the essential role of strategic partnership that Attest’s research team provides. We view Compass as a complementary tool, enhancing your current setup, not replacing human expertise.
The tools for insights are rapidly evolving, and we want your input as we move forward. Inform, test, and provide feedback on what we’re creating. Join our Product Feedback Group for exclusive access to features, direct impact on the product roadmap, and more.
I most appreciated the question inspiration. It gave me ideas for questions and answers that I had not thought of.

Compass can be used to create, edit and analyse surveys via prompting the co-pilot with simple instructions. Additionally, you can use Compass to review your own survey drafts, give inspiration for survey design and data storytelling, and program surveys from pasted content. Compass is designed to take care of time-consuming and manual research tasks so you can save time when running research.
Yes – we’ve designed Compass to be accessible to support you throughout your research process; however, it is always optional to use AI and the features that allow you to manually create, edit and analyse surveys remain available.
No – they can’t. Your use of Compass is individual to your account and won’t be shared with, or visible to, colleagues or other users within your company’s Attest org.
Compass is in beta because it is an evolving feature. We believe there is already a ton of value that our users can get from it so we want to get it into your hands as soon as possible. Releasing Compass as a beta also allows us to gather feedback, improve the experience and introduce new capabilities over time. It is important to note that because the feature is in beta, pricing and access to Compass may change in the future. Please see the Attest help article about betas here.
Compass has been built using Attest’s in-house research expertise. When you prompt Compass to create or analyse a survey, it references a series of guardrails and content that help to ensure it uses research best practices. Additionally, all features go through rigorous manual and automated review processes before they are released.
Please note that content created by AI should always be reviewed for accuracy and quality before you use them.
Attest does not use customers’ personal data to train any of our AI models. This extends to both third-party Generative AI tools, and our in-house proprietary models. With regards to our use of the carefully selected Generative AI models, we have a strict policy of having broad opt-outs in place to ensure that any data provided by Attest is not used to train third party models.
