Everything new at Attest. A few times a year.
Our goal is to put insight into the decision. Research that sits in an export folder isn’t finished — it’s stalled. Everything in this release, across the launch of Explore to the way your data leaves the platform, and Measure improvements, is built around the same idea: shortening the distance between a finding insight and the decision it’s meant to inform.
Built by customers, for customers
The product updates in this Autumn release exists because customers told us what they needed next. Explore’s shift to audio-first interview format came directly from feedback across accounts actively trialling the product. The Results API and MCP server exist because enterprise customers asked for them.
That’s the model we intend to keep using: you tell us where the value is, and we build toward it. If there’s a feature you’re missing, a workflow that still feels clunky, or an idea for where Explore or Measure should go next, we want to know about it.
Whats new?
Explore: a more focused AI-moderated interview experience
From September, Explore moves to a respondent-paced, push-to-talk interview format, built on text-to-speech.
Since we launched Explore in BETA in April, hundreds of leading brands have trialled it across use cases from consumption habits and concept testing through to purchase barriers and growth opportunities. Through that period we stayed in close dialogue with customers, and one thing came through clearly: what people needed most was rich, considered insight that actually shapes decisions.
That’s why we’ve moved to a push-to-talk, text-to-speech interview format, launching from September. Respondents get real thinking time and full control of pacing, which means more thoughtful, decision-ready answers land in your dashboard within days — without adding any time to your turnaround.
The moderator reads each question aloud with subtitles on screen; the respondent presses to record their answer and presses again when they’re done. That gives respondents real thinking time and full control of pacing, and more considered answers as a result. It’s also a proven approach, not an experiment: it’s the same model already used at scale by the category’s other leading AI-moderated platforms.
Everything you already value about Explore stays exactly as it was: insight in days rather than weeks, Compass building your research plan from your goals, rich cross-interview analysis and themes, a flat fee with panel included, one contract with no need for a new vendor and research partner expert support throughout.

Results API and MCP server: stop exporting, start connecting
Your Attest data no longer has to stay in Attest.
- Results API — set it up once, and every completed study lands automatically in your data warehouse or BI tool. No more exporting a CSV, emailing it to a data engineer, and waiting for a manual upload.
- MCP server — point your AI tool at Attest and ask across everything you’ve ever run: synthesise across waves and markets, search your whole study archive, and roll research history up into themes, all in one answer

Both are currently in the hands of an early access cohort of customers. Enterprise customers have been asking for exactly this — a way to bring Attest data into their own workflows rather than working around it.
This is what Connected Insights actually looks like in practice: a research library that compounds in value every time you add to it, rather than a series of one-off projects that go quiet the moment a report is delivered.
Measure: platform improvements across the board
A run of changes, each aimed at getting you to a cleaner, faster, more usable result.
- Data Quality 2.0 — we have rebuilt our fraud and bad-faith detection engine which is faster, more accurate, and far less likely to wrongly reject genuine respondents, while catching real bad actors more reliably. With new device-level fraud signals (VPN and proxy use, bots, emulators) which add a further layer of protection. The net effect: cleaner data, fewer good respondents dropped, fewer backfills needed to hit your target sample. check notion page
- Briefs — now live for every customer. Define your objectives at the start of your survey and Compass will use them to organise and summarise your insights around each goal after launch. Instead of sifting through responses and drawing your own connections, you get findings framed around the business questions you set out to answer — particularly useful if you’re newer to research design and want a strong starting point rather than a blank page.

- Self-hosted video — upload your own video directly into an Attest study (no YouTube required) resulting in greater privacy for concepts and with the benefits of no adverts in the interview experience.
- Compass enhancements — set of new improvements across:
- New Suggestions Tab that flags ways to improve survey quality before you launch;
- New Demographic splits on Key Findings
- Updated Crosstabs — now add one directly from a board, use stacked variables and edit it like any other chart type.
Research editor enhancements
- Add questions anywhere, not just the end – You can now insert a new card directly between two existing ones. No more dragging a card up from the bottom of the list just to get it in the right spot.
- Redesigned question popover – question types, methodologies, suggestions & library in one place. Question types, the Suggest button, and your saved Library are now combined into a single popover. Methodologies (like MaxDiff and Gabor-Granger) now get their own dedicated section, distinct from standard question types. Highlighting the methodological depth we bring as a research platform.
- Images on Grid Subjects – is now available so you can upload the right media on your subject areas.

Whats coming soon?
Launch of Gabor-Granger pricing method – which determines the price elasticity of products and services. Which is particularly useful when you want to:
- You want to get a directionally correct estimate for willingness to pay for the product.
- You want to find revenue-optimising price points.
- All the other components (or attributes) of the product or service are fixed and cannot be changed.
- You only want to look at your brand or SKU without considering competition.

New AI translations – Instantly generate full-survey translations for target languages using integrated language models. Which will help you: Launch multi-country studies in seconds instead of waiting days for manual translation workflows.
Commercial update – From 1st september the MaxDiff and Gabor Granger pricing research methodology will be charged at 10 credits per question.
That’s the Autumn Release. If something here doesn’t work the way you expect, or there’s a change you were hoping to see and didn’t, tell your account team or the Product team directly.
